Zaina Al-Haddad

POTHOLES & BRICKS IN MUWAILEH
DESIGN RESEARCH • 2019

This project uses the ideation from observation research methodolgy to suggest a a solution for potholes and interlock bricks issues in Muwaileh area, Sharjah. The result of the research was using flirty supergraphics to grab the attention of the authority. The flirty messeages are inspired by the catcalling culture that is popular in that area.

ABOUT

Zaina Al-Haddad is a Syrian designer who grew up in Dubai. In 2021, she graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a major in multimedia design and a minor in film. In addition to film, she works with illustration, 2D and 3D animation, graphic design, motion graphics, VR, AR, and other related fields. Her work focuses on the human aspect of things. Zaina puts a part of her soul in every project she works on.
