This film uses references from Dziga Vertov’s Man with a Movie Camera as well as Stan Brakhage’s The Dante Quartet and recreates the styles of these two talented fimmakers. The film explores three levels of grieve that take inspiration from Dante’s Divine Comedy.

ABOUT

Zaina Al-Haddad is a Syrian designer who grew up in Dubai. In 2021, she graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a major in multimedia design and a minor in film. In addition to film, she works with illustration, 2D and 3D animation, graphic design, motion graphics, VR, AR, and other related fields. Her work focuses on the human aspect of things. Zaina puts a part of her soul in every project she works on.
